Note: Always test beforehand, if surface/material is compatible!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Shake can vigorously for 2-3 minutes before use. Apply paint in several thin layers, spraying in sweeping motions. Allow each coating to dry for at least 5 minutes. Further coats of alternative products might require a drying time of 24 hours or more depending on application style. Always test spray on a non-visible area to check the compatibility of lacquer or paint. For optimal lifespan, store cans with the nozzle on.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

- Surfaces should be dry and clean of oil, dirt or rust

- With highly absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to apply an appropriate primer before.

- Shake the can well for at least 3 minutes

- Spray distance should be at least 15-20cm

- Test spray on a non-visible area

- Apply at least 2-3 layers in a grid pattern. Leave every layer to dry at least 5 min.

- To expand the lifespan of the paint layer, it should be treated with Montana Varnish Spray

Drying time depends on temperature, humidity and thickness of coating.

OPTIMAL PROCESSING CONDITIONS:

- Temperature 10° - 25°Celcius

- Surface temperature 5° - 40°Celcius

- Air humidity max. 60%

SHELF LIFE / STORAGE: 10 years with proper storage (10°-25°C, relative humidity of max. 60%).

Why Montana WHITE?

Montana WHITE is a high pressure, synthetic based paint that is ideal for the budget concious user. It is all season, aesthetic, practical and hard wearing.

How do I start using my Montana WHITE can?

Remove the spray nozzle and turn the can upside down. Strike with your palm allowing safety ring to fall out. Shake vigerously for 2-3 minutes ensuring you can hear the mixing balls moving freely. Replace the cap back onto the top of the can valve and trigger away from substrate to test. If flowing freely you can start painting.

What finish does Montana WHITE have?

Montana WHITE has a GLOSS finish when dry. As the paint is resin based, it has a greater volume which it maintains once dry also. Drying occurs through the process of oxidisation.

Is Montana WHITE compatible with other Montana Cans spay paint?

Montana WHITE is only compatible with other Montana Cans spray paints if apply over them once they are completely dry. Applying other paints over Montana WHITE will result in reactions and cracking due to ist synthetic base.

Montana WHITE is self-coatable within the first two hours after application and then again after 24 hours.

Why would I choose Montana WHITE over other Montana Cans colors?

Montana WHITE is ideal for users that want a gloss finish without the need to apply any further clear coating after application. Created for the budget conscious users, it is exceptional for practical tasks, object coating and weather proofing of objects located outdoor.

How long does Montana WHITE take to dry?

Drying time is usually 10-20 minutes. A faster drying time is achieved in warm, dry or sunny conditions.

Can I change nozzles to have different application effects?

Yes. Nearly all Montana-Cans nozzles are interchangable with all our spray products (*except ultrawide and some specialty male valve sprays). Please ensure your replacement cap is the compatible before purchase.

Which materials can I paint on with Montana WHITE?

Montana WHITE can be applied to almost all materials except un-primed polystyrene and acrylic glass. Please note it is solvent based so will react or penetrate any surface not able to take solvents.

Is Montana WHITE as lightfast as Montana GOLD or BLACK?

Due to the nature of synthetic resin based paints, Montana WHITE is not as lightfast as Montana GOLD or BLACK which is prefferable for Fine Art orientated projects. It was created for the budget conscious user.
